説明 | Taken with Sigma SD1 + 17-50 f2.8 EX DC OS HSM.First portraits with the SD1. My beautiful fiance needed a head shot for an upcoming theatre audition. Which one do you like the most?We used our cars windscreen sun shade to bounce some light and the results were surprisingly good. Dont pixel peep too much, because you can actually read the branding on the sun shade.. :-)I don't have a lot of experience working with skin tones, let alone portraits, and im still very new to the SD1 itself, but im pretty happy for a first attempt.I did a little bit of split toning in Lightroom for finer control, but my monitors are far from good quality and are not calibrated at all, so it could look all over the place. The clarity was knocked back in Lightroom to soften the skin a little. The SD1 highlights every little detail on your face, sometimes a little too much, so i tried to soften it a little without losing too much detail. The black and white variants are not radically different, with just some adjustments to some of the colour channels to darken the lips and add a little more separation from the background. I didn't want to make them too dramatic and keep things pretty linear.I'd really like to try again with some more equipment and a few more lenses. I hear the 105 macro is really good for portraits, and of course the 50 1.4 on the SD1 would be a 75, and i imagine would be very nice. |
