| 説明 | I woke up about 12 minutes before landing and saw Los Angeles glowing outside the window. The view is toward the southeast from northwest of the city, on approach to Santa Barbara from Denver. From bottom to top, the Grapevine (I-5) enters the San Fernando Valley as the Golden State Freeway, continuing between Verdugo Mountain on the left and the Hollywood hills on the right. Highway 210, the Foothill Expressway, winds around the left or East side of Verdugo. Downtown L.A. is the bright white spot under the fog beyond the Hollywood Hills. All of the West Side, down to LAX and the ocean, glows under a low fog near the top of the shot. |
