I had to stand several times on Gold Class cars -- yes, in first class; no seat -- and assume that the economy-class riders on the same train were jammed cheek to jowl.I paid top dirham for a Gold Class IC card when I arrived, partly 'cause I'm weird and collect transit IC cards, and partly because I wanted to see what the Gold Class cars would be like. I am usually an economy class kind of guy, but wound up taking advantage of that Gold Class card frequently just to get off my weary dogs.
