| 説明 | St John the Baptist, Great Hale, Lincs, presents a dramatic east end, with both aisles now flush with the chancel. The medieval chancel collapsed in the 17th C., and there is now no structural separation of the chancel from the aisles. The aisle east windows are 14th C. (Pevsner calls the north one "odd"). The central window with intersecting tracery dates from the late 19th C. restoration of the church. |
