| 説明 | A fairly silly shot from our visit to Norwich, and an example of some of the worst taxidermy that I've ever seen in a museum setting.The Norwich castle is quite a wonderful old building full of neat things (e.g., obligaory suits of armor and, occassionally, Harry Harris's shadow). They also have several gallerys of art, a large display of teapots, and a few gallerys of natural history. Whoever did the taxidermy on their mammals, however, just didn't get eyes and mouths. Almost every animal has this weird round-eyed look and a grimace which, for the most part, combines to form a contenance the animal never likely displayed while it roamed the earth. |
