説明 | Duesenberg became the first American car to win the coveted LeMans French Grand Prix.In 1922 Duesenberg started producing luxury automobiles, E.L.Cord bought the company in 1925, they produced three models before folding in 1937;The 1921-27 Model A, 90hp 260 cu in 8 cyl. Only 650 Model As were builtThe 1926-27 Model X, 100hp 260 cu in 8 cyl, longer wheelbase than the Model A, only 13 were builtThe 1928-37 Model J, 265hp 260, the SJ was the supercharged version with 320hp, the SSJ on a shorter wheelbase, the JN with Rollston body. A total of 481 were built. The Duesenberg chassis was also a favorite of coachbuilders for creating custom one off kind of cars like this one.
