| 説明 | So we'd set off on day 2 and were walking out of Hawes when we popped over a bridge and noticed that there was a steam train plonked on some tracks. Turns out this is the site of the former Hawes Railway Station, and is now home of the Dales Countryside Museum. And they have a steam train and some coaches and a bit of track. Bit of track being the word and no mistake – the track ends just after the front and back of the train meaning that this engine and its carriages never leave the station. Bit like the average First Great Western service (be-dum tish) |
