| 説明 | The east side of the Temple of Jupiter at the north end of the forum (VII.8). This was a hexastyle (six columns in front) temple on a high podium. Originally, it was just a temple dedicated to Jupiter, but after Sulla's defeat of the city in the 80s BCE, the temple was rededicated to the Capitoline Triad. |
