| 説明 | Canadian seller's note, with the eBay listing, October 31, 2014: Here I am pleased to offer a rare c.1920 "mail-in" ink blotter advertising "Dr. A.W. Chase's (quack) Syrup of Linseed and Turpentine Medicine". This attractive, early, and ultra rare Canadian lithograph on cardboard advertising piece is graphic and whimsical. It features the Dr. Chase wood-spoked advertising automobile with a gentleman behind the wheel. The card indicates that another blotter could be acquired when "it is used up" by writing the company for a new one! Nice Overall Condition. Light corner crease (bottom right) and "Mary Malcolm" hand written in top middle centre. Back side has ink blots and faint writing, as expected (zero "bleed-through").
