| 説明 | The grinning jack-o-lantern -- one of two pumpkins I carved this Halloween. I have but a single grocery outlet for miles, a Safeway. This Safeway carries Connecticut Field pumpkins, a great deocrative pumpkin. Unfortunately, Connecticut Field pumpkins also have exceptionally think rinds, which make them very, very hard to carve. Even using an extremely sharp, serrated knife meant using most of my strength to cut through the inch-thick, hard crust. So I don't get the nice, easy curves and delicate features that you see from other jack-o-lanterns online.Nonetheless, I liked my pumpkin. |
