| 説明 | Native, perennial, erect, woolly herb with a woody rootstock, to 45 cm tall. Leaves are linear to narrow-oblong, 1–3 mm wide, crowded around the base of stems, 2.5–10 cm long and woolly. Heads are solitary on slender peduncles. Involucral bracts are multiseriate, outer straw-coloured to pale brown or purple; inner bracts are white and woolly at the base. Flowering is in spring and summer. Listed as endangered under the EPBC Act. Occurs in a wide variety of grassland, woodland and forest habitats, generally on relatively heavy soils. Can occur in modified habitats such as semi-urban areas and roadsides. Highly dependent on the presence of bare ground for germination. In some areas, disturbance is required for successful establishment. |
