| 説明 | RIGA, Latvia - Soldiers from A Company, 2nd Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, joined NATO allies to honor Latvian Independence Day Nov. 18 in a parade in Riga, Latvia. Latvian President Andris Bērziņš reviewed the formations of troops and emergency responders. Members of the Michigan National Guard served as the U.S. Color Guard. Latvian, Norwegian and U.S. troops, along with other NATO allies, marched in the afternoon parade, followed by Latvian first responders and military and emergency equipment, and a flyover with Canadian CF-188 Hornet fighter aircraft and Latvian emergency response helicopters.
