説明 | Part 3: from Timisoara to Sibiu28th of April 2004•10:01 hoursWhat an adventure! I just come from the machine man cabin of the train engine. When I made a photograph of the train engine, the machine man invited me to come into the engine. He tackled my back pocket, gave me a seat and a couple minutes later he put the train in movement. A splendid view on a grand landscape with a single track on a little dike with here and there a house or a shepherd with sheep. He was not very positive about his own country. His opinion was that most of the Romanians are actually criminals, that's why Romania is not yet finished to become part of the EU, they have the wrong attitude, was his idea. After I had examined three museums like 'Banat' in the centre of Timisoara yesterday, I had an appointment with Rares to eat something together in the city centre. He did not have much time unfortunately, because he had to work again after half an hour on the German-speaking theatre group. The next day he would have had more time, but I did not want to stay so long in Timisoara, otherwise I would not have enough time during my trip to see Bucarest and visit Vali in Sibiu. After the late lunch I took a taxi to the rural museum in the Padurea Verde, where old houses could be seen. Even here I was the only visitor, unfortunately many houses were closed. While I was making pictures, a woman came to open some of the houses. She explained me that I needed to pay another five times the entrance prize, in case of making photographs. All together it was still less than 2 Euros, so I did not make any trouble about it. I did take a taxi for the way back, because I rather preferred to see some of the outskirts and the rest of the city. I was surprised by the amount of old alive and sociable squares, even outside the city centre. I started the evening with making my own walk along some bars, including an Internet café.At 22.00 hours Rares had finished his work and we went to drink something together. Afterwards we went swinging in of the sparkling dance clubs of the student district. Soon the whole disco was full of people. And that on a Tuesday night. The next morning I needed to get out of bed early, to be able to catch my train. Rares was so clever to switch on several clocks. I enjoyed it to find myself in a full town bus during the morning peak hour among all the people are on their way to their work. |
