| 説明 | Introduced, cool-season, annual, slender, erect herb, with (mostly) unbranched stems 20-50 cm tall. Leaves are linear, finely toothed and 1-5 cm long; leaf sheaths are at least twice as long as broad. Flowers are in a head at the tip of the stem and are loosely enclosed by bracts that are keeled and have pointed tips. Flowers have 5 pink to purplish petals, 11-16 mm long. Flowering is in spring. A native of Europe, it is an occasional weed of pasture edges, roadsides, disturbed woodlands and wastelands. Of no importance to grazing livestock, as it only occurs in low numbers around fence lines and where pasture production is very low; it only produces small amounts of leaf close to the ground. A very minor weed, which doesn't warrant control. |
