| 説明 | Detail from the banner used by Haringey Council at a public "consultation" event in Coombes Croft Library, about the next stage of brutal budget cuts.Sketches of two real buildings are shown. The brown and white Clocktower is in Crouch End Broadway. The long ochre building is the Alexandra Palace with its TV mast, on Muswell Hill. The third sketch - a circular building in five shades of grey - is the proposed new Tottenham Hotspur football stadium. Which may or may not be built to this design. And may or may not open in 2017.DemolitionIn the meantime, whenever the stadium is built or opened, the failed politicians running Haringey Council plan to demolish Coombes Croft Library, the flats above it; and the adjacent residential area; to serve the interests of the football club. |
