| 説明 | St. Stephen's, Exeter, 7 September 2014. Originally Saxon, only the crypt of that era survives. A Gothic church was then built but this was destroyed by fire in 1662 and completely rebuilt in 1664. The church was again damaged by bombing in 1942 and completely renovated in 2012. The exterior still looks mediaeval with Perpendicular windows and a very unusual octagonal tower. |
