| 説明 | With the great weather in June and July everything was so early & has already finished flowering. ....except the ragwort. I do like the ragwort and from the bee's perspective i am glad of it (even if, officially, it is a noxious weed - Ronnie the farmer who owns the fields around me got a letter from DARD last week saying that it had come to their notice that there was too much ragwort and asking him to apply herbicides ) If the bees turn to other flowers i will photograph them! Looks like the ivy is going to be extraordinarily early - lots of ivy flowers on our lane are already open (about 2 or 3 weeks early) - If next couple of weekends are good weather then I reckon that I will be doing lots of honey bee on ivy pictures! |
