| 説明 | (Cllr Pippa Connor outside the Village bar on Muswell Hill Broadway )A public meeting will be held in Muswell Hill on the 12th August to discuss controversial plans for a new Wetherspoon pub on Muswell Hill Broadway. The plans for the new Wetherspoons due to replace the derelict Village bar on Muswell Hill Broadway have attracted criticism from local residents concerned about noise and the possibility of a beer garden on the site. Local people are also worried that Wetherspoons want the license for the site extended so they can serve alcohol from 9am. Local Lib Dem councillors are encouraging residents to attend the public meeting organised by the pub chain to make sure the developers are aware of local people’s concerns. So far the event has not been widely advertised. The meeting starts at 7.30pm at Raglan Hotel, 8-10 Queens Avenue, Muswell Hill, N10 3NR on Tuesday 12th August. |
