| 説明 | Cicada Killer Wasps are stinging insects and predators of cicadas. Female wasps dig burrows in the soil in sunny areas. They capture cicadas, immobilize them with a sting and place them in their burrow. Female wasps then lay an egg on the cicada, which will serve as food for a developing larval wasp.
