| 説明 | The mighty Mekong flows on, unconcerned with all the commercial activity in the LP Morning Market or anything else for that matter. This is one helluva big river that runs almost the entire length of Laos, north to south. I found very little commercial inland shipping on the river though. It was generally empty most of the time, save for the usual plethora of tourist boats and fishing craft zipping about. I'd have expected cargo vessels or barges running the length of the country, but no, there were none. None that I could see anyway. (Luang Prabang, Laos/ Lao PDR, April 2014) |
