| 説明 | The Maryland Freestate ChalleNGe Academy graduates nearly 90 cadets from class #42 on June 14, 2014, at Aberdeen Proving Ground. The cadets successfully completed more than 5 months of rigorous residential instruction. Cadets were recognized with awards and scholarships this week in a separate ceremony. The National Guard Youth ChalleNGe Program, a preventive rather than remedial "youth at risk" program, is directed at unemployed, drug-free, high school dropouts, 16-18 years of age. Core components of the program are citizenship, academic excellence (GED/High School diploma), life-coping skills, service to community, health and hygiene, job skills training, leadership, and physical training.
