Na uroczystości rocznicowej pojawili się aktywiści Greenpeace z transparentami w języku angielskim „Independence - real leaders choose renewables” („Niezależność - prawdziwi liderzy wybierają odnawialne źródła energii”).Warsaw - As several heads of state, like the president of the United States of America Barack Obama and the French president Francois Hollande, visit Warsaw to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the free elections in Poland, Greenpeace activists unfolded several banners at the historic Castle Square. The banners read “Independence - Real leaders choose renewables” and remind political leaders that today’s real independence is linked to energy security and a shift to renewable energy and energy efficiency. Several of the celebrations’ participants will leave for Brussels later today to attend discussions at a G7 summit on energy security in the light of the Ukraine crisis. |
