| 説明 | A busy summer's day during the 1960s at Westminster Pier. The boat in the foreground is the Queen Boadicea, she was built in 1929 and was one of the fleet of 'little ships' which took part in Operation Dynamo when the British Expeditionary Force was lifted off the beaches of Dunkirk in 1940.In 1977 she was bought for service on the Dartmouth - Kingswear Ferry in Devon, unfortunately for such a historic boat she was scrapped at Plymouth in 1984. |
