| 説明 | The red building on the wharf is known as Motif No. 1. It is said to be the most widely photographed building in the United States. Actually, this is a replica of Motif No. 1, which was actually destroyed in a storm in 1978. the original was a bit rougher, but give this one time. Rockport is an interesting place. It is filled with artists, fishermen, vacationers, and sightseers. Once it was a major producer of granite. In fact, Rockport granite was used to construct Boston's Custom House Tower.
