| 説明 | Samsung Galaxy S3 VS S5 cameras.This is a full-resolution composite of native images captured with both phones. You'll notice the aspect ratio right off the bat. The S5 is a 16:9 and the S3 is 4:3. I elected to perform 100% lossless crops at the same image resolution ratio. Meaning the S3 crop is only 1000px wide whereas the S5 is 1400px wide, which represents the similar percentage crop from the original image.My current observations since owning the S3 for 2 years and the S5 for only a week:- S5 color rendering capabilities are MUCH better!- Overall the IQ of the S5 is MUCH better, showing more detail and enabling the user to crop more and sacrifice less. (18mp in the S5 vs 8mp in the S3)- S5 provides image stabilization in all modes, including HDR, where the S3 does not offer it in HDR.- S5 tends to slightly underexpose in HDR compared to the S3. I have found w/in the photo edit menu the auto-enhance to bump the EV about .5 stops in addition to adding what seems to be a "clarity" filter like that found in Light Room.Bottom line, the S5 camera is indeed way ahead of its S3 predecessor. |
