| 説明 | Single track driving is quite an experience, especially when you've just gotten used to the narrow double-track roads.How do you support two-way traffic on a road wide enough for one? Well, you zip along at 30-50mph until you see oncoming traffic. Then you figure out if there's a passing place between you (they're marked by black and white poles). If there is, you both head towards it, and first one there stops to let the other pass. If there isn't, then it's a game of "who's gonna start reversing first" back to the previous passing place.It took surprisingly little time to get used to, and made driving a whole lot more communal and friendly. Most frequently, people would be racing to be the first to accommodate the other. |
