Although the K106 was successful the tyre was discontinued in 2011 and replaced by the new Kingstar Asymmetric SK10.This is what admin at Megatyre.co.nz had to say about the K106:"I have to agree that the Kingstar K106 was a great tyre but the hard facts are that asymmetric technology like that in the Kingstar SK10 which replaced the K106 is simply miles ahead of the directional K106.
