| 説明 | Communication is critical in a crisis, which is why the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is testing its Emergency Command and Control Vehicle on Wednesday, April 16, 2014, in downtown Portland.The test is part of a statewide exercise conducted by Oregon Emergency Management. The scenario is two-fold: a large Cascadia Subduction Zone type earthquake, and a flood event.The ECCV functions as the Corps' Emergency Operation Center. By participating in exercises like this, our teams get experience in supporting local and state governments, testing our Corps-to-State procedures, and heightens management awareness of potential USACE response-and-recovery actions for earthquake and flood scenarios. |
