| 説明 | Meet Zeemix Trio at TAG’s “Meet The Artiste” on 8th AprilEvery month Tiatr Academy of Goa invites artistes of repute to interact with their fans/followers and other tiatr loving people. Such a meeting helps the audience to know more in detail about the artiste. It also helps TAG to create documentation for its library in order to preserve it for posterity.A very popular trio, ZEEMIX TRIO will be the “Artiste of the Month” in this monthly programme to be held on Tuesday, 8th April 2014 at 4.00 p.m., at Black Box, Ravindra Bhavan-Margao, Fatorda. Zeemix Trio is comprising of three excellent singers: Zeferino Dias, Minguel Martins alias Michael and Agapito B. C. Xavier popularly known as Xavier. Talented Xavier joined his village good friends Wilson Mazarello and Ariton Mazarello. Three of them formed a trio in Mumbai where they were acclaimed and appreciated by Goans and Mangaloreans for their singing. As Mr. Ariton left for better prospects in the Gulf countries, they were searching for a new partner where they approached Mr. Michael (Minguel Martins) an excellent singer. They named it WILMIX TRIO. There was a competition of Konkani stage artistes at St. Mary’s Byculla, the play was “Bekar Patrao” by Seby Coutinho and Rico Rod. The Music Director was Frank Fernand, famous music composer and arranger from film Industry with top cine musicians. They were judged the best for singing specially for the superb blending of voices. Wilmix Trio had several Konkani albums where Xavier sang solos: ‘Sezari’, ‘Bhatkar’, ‘Mundkar’ and duets with Sharon such as “Mr. Mojem Mrs”, “Posorkar Pepirmint’’; Hit Trios like “Lotlikar Shet”, “Hemamalinichem Sopon”, “Kallo Kanvllo”, “Amcho Saib” etc. which were in the hit list and they are on the public request programme on AIR Goa and Mumbai. Wilmix Trio sang trios for Joe Rose’s album, “Top Konkani Hits” and also on Fausto V. D’Costa album, “Futt”. From 1985, Wilson left for Goa, Zeferino Dias came in and the trio was now called ZEEMIX TRIO. Zeferino Dias originally from Chinchinnim in Goa and settled in Mumbai wrote few successful tiatrs: “Tho Hanga Na”, “Kitem Hanvem Kelem” to name a few. Zeemix Trio started with their hit dramas, “Kitem Hanvem Kelem” and “Sukh ani Dukh” in Mumbai, Daman and Goa with Succorin, Seby Coutinho, Joe Rose and many other stalwarts of tiatr . Zeemix Trio also acted in dramas of famous directors as C. Alvares, Prem Kumar, Alfred Rose, Tony Martins, etc. Zeemix accompanied Alfred Rose for his show to Dubai where they sang trios and also acted. Zeemix Trio has acted in Tony Dias’ shows, “Mumbai To Goa” which were held in all major cities in Goa. They sang hit trios like “Padri”, “Maim”, etc. Zeemix Trio always sang good moral and entertaining songs having a good message. Zeemix Trio also released audio albums like “Ugddas”, “Ullhas” and 4 other Christmas cassettes. Zeemix Trio have gained wide popularity due to their hard team work in order to promote the Konkani language and Goan art and culture. Goa Government has conferred upon Michael and Xavier “Kala Gaurav Puraskar” for the year 2013-14 and Maharashtra Konknni Kala Saunstha also felicitated them for their contribution in the field of tiatr.
