| 説明 | A bottle of Saison Deluxe from Southampton Publick House on Long Island, New York.Southampton Saison Deluxe is a 7.4% abv farmhouse-style ale that I picked up during a visit to brewery in 2010. It has spent the last four years in my cellar.The beer poured a slightly hazy golden amber with a white, bubbly head. It smelled lovely of overripe fruits and mild spices. Mouthfeel was medium heavy with a velvety smooth texture. The flavor started out with a slightly oxidized, overripe fruit sweetness. As it warmed up I got some white pepper and hints of cloves as well as more fruit notes. It finished half dry with a linger aftertaste of spices. Delicious. |
