説明 | As we arrived at the end of the pier next to the Hornet, we spotted these four planes forming into a diamond, which they did, as they flew out through the Golden Gate and off to parts unknown. This is all the way out, on my 300mm lens, so more or less 450-480mm equivalent on a 35 mm camera, and about a third of a frame at that... I hammered contrast and saturation in Preview, to bring out as much information in the far off fields as I could. It was a hazy day, the marine layer started forming before sundown, and there's too much "aerial perspective" un-saturating and reducing contrast in the distance. The water and bridge close-in look terrible, but the nice brick building out along the Embarcadero looks pretty good! Overall, about as good as I was going to get, but I wish it was sharp enough to identify the airplanes. |
