| 説明 | I've managed to dismantle Jessica's camera a little further and it's pretty clear what the cause of death was.The outer barrel of the lens housing is driven by a cylindrical cam with roller followers at three points inside the outer housing. It seems that the impact forced the housing down over the followers so that now at least one of them is not in its usual position.I was able to straighten the lens barrel housing a bit and can now extend and retract it with some degree of success by manually driving the cam, which is encouraging. While I was straightening the housing, one of the followers fell out, but if I can get the other two back into there proper place and reinsert the one that fell out, I may be able to get the camera working agagin .. assuming I can get it back together.If you're wondering what all this is in aid of, start here and follow the set through. |
