| 説明 | GB Railfreight class 66/7 (JT42CWR) number 66728 named "Institute of Railway Operators" in GB Railfreights blue and mustard yellow livery hauling empty gypsum containers mounted on flat wagons from Mountfield Sidings (Gbrf) East Sussex (British Gypsum's Robertsbridge Works) to West Burton Power station (4E19) on 14 March 2014. This service usually travels down from West Burton the day before however, on this occasion 66728 brought the gypsum to Mountfield sidings the day before from Southampton Western Docks (GBRf) working 4Y19 as photographed by Worcestershed approaching Basingstoke on 13 March 2014 (www.flickr.com/photos/16645820@N06/13172564785/in/photoli...).For more typical workings from West Burton to comply with gas emission regulations limestone (CaCO3) delivered to the power station (by other trains) is used to remove sulfur dioxide (SO2) from the flue gasses (desulfurisation), by converting it into gypsum (CaSO4·2H2O).
