| 説明 | Pulmonary giant cell carcinoma represents a rare variety of non-small cell lung carcinoma that is characterized by the presence of numerous tumor giant cells and an influx of inflammatory cells that are mostly polymorphonuclear leukocytes admixed with macrophages. The dense oval aggregates of polymorphonuclear leukocytes seen in this image are probably located in the cytoplasm of tumor giant cells (emperiopolesis) that have been sectioned in a plane that does not include their nuclei |
