説明 | Geysers are hot springs that episodically erupt columns of water. They occur in few places on Earth. The highest concentration of geysers anywhere is at the Yellowstone Hotspot Volcano (northwestern Wyoming, USA).Tortoise Shell Spring is a perpetual spouter on the northern flanks of Castle Geyser in Yellowstone’s Upper Geyser Basin. It has a geyserite buildup about 7 by 5 meters in size with a thick, raised border. Activity consists of constant, low to moderate-sized roiling and splashing, sometimes reaching about 2 meters high. |
