| 説明 | Jimbo speaking to Zach Klein and some other students.Florida Free Culture sponsored Jimbo, Wikipedia's founder, to come and speak at the University of Florida on 12 April 2006 about Free Culture and Univerities. After Jimbo's speech there was a panel discussion centered around similar topics: Wikipedia article writing as a teaching tool, Open Access to scientific journals, Free Software and university IT and finally Equal Access to essential medicines in low/middle income countries.Bringing Jimbo to the University of Florida was a six month task for these members of Florida Free Culture but the event was an absolute success: the 300-seat room had standing room only. |
