| 説明 | On Feb. 7, 2014, the Honolulu District Ohana gathered for its Annual Awards Townhall. It was a great opportunity to get together and honor the significant and special accomplishments of our co-workers. The Townhall featured:• a year-in-review video• the Commander’s update to the District• & our Honorary and Annual AwardsIn addition, Derek Chow was presented an MSM signed by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, GEN Martin Dempsey for meritorious support to Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.We also recognized a number of people for their many years of service and presented 30, 35, 40, and 50 year Length-of-Service Awards.The District is full of outstanding employees. The goal of our awards program is to encourage and recognize employees who exceed standards and achieve excellence in their daily work. Here are the winners:The Administrative Ikaika Loa Employee of the Year went to Vince Hall.Technical Employee of the Year went to Randall Chun.The Ikaika Loa for Professional Employee of the Year went to Michael Miki.The Maika’i Loa for Leader of the Year went to Derek Chow.The Alaka’i Loa for Project Manager of the Year went to Milton Yoshimoto. The ‘Ōlelo A’o for Mentor of the Year went to Norman Kaneshige.The the PDT of the Year was the F22 Combat Aircraft Apron, Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam PDT headed by PM Gordon Kuioka.Congratulations to all our winners and for all the many people behind the scenes who made the Awards Townhall Possible including the Awards Committee, ULA, ACE-IT, 9th MSC and the District Public Affairs Office. |
