| 説明 | Not a great shot, but I'm posting as this is my first photo of this species. It was waiting stoically in the mud of the River Orwell at Levington Creek. They breed in the far north of Russia and North America and migrate to spend the winter in warmer places. Its Latin Name means Rain Plover, or something like that, but luckily the sun made a brief appearance when I saw it though it was rather far away. |
