| 説明 | Super Frying Pan Geyser is a fountain-type geyser in the Fountain Group of Yellowstone's Lower Geyser Basin. It is along a northwest-southeast trending fracture topped by several active geysers: Jet Geyser, Super Frying Pan Geyser, Spasm Geyser, Clepsydra Geyser, and New Bellefontaine Geyser. The lineation also has some non-erupting springs: Clep's Well and two unnamed features.Super Frying Pan Geyser first manifested in the 1960s and was a developed geyser in the 1970s. The feature is an irregularly-shaped, jagged hole in stratified geyserite/siliceous sinter. Overhanging pieces have been progressively undercut, resulting in many small collapse events.Full pool eruptions have the highest bursting. Low pool eruptions are less energetic. |
