説明 | We went hiking in the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore in October, on the Cowles Bog Trail. The access path from the Greenbelt Trailhead has been covered with gravel; I spotted a piece with a vaguely marine-like impression that struck me as a fossil.Approximately 2.25x life-size magnification, image width represents approx. 16mm.Notes: Canon FD 50mm f/3.5 S.S.C. Macro Lens (reverse mounted), Canon Macro Hood, Canon MA-55 Macrophoto Adapter, Canon Vari-Extension Tube M30-55, Canon Macro Lens Mount Converter FD-EOS (70mm extension from tube and adapters). Lens aperture ring set to f/11. Flash set to 1/2 power, fired into reflector card above center. Bicycle headlamp used to aid focusing (also adds a slight blue cast to the light). |
