| 説明 | This '70's era Mazda-built pickup truck was Ford's answer, along with Chevy's Isuzu-built LUV and the later Mitsubishi-built Dodge D50, to the explosion in popularity of small Japanese-made pickups in the U.S. market.Later American-developed and manufactured small pickup trucks (the Chevy S-10 and GMC S-15, Ford Ranger and the mid-sized Dodge Dakota) made the Courier and its ilk unnecessary.Critics blasted American carmakers for their allegedly slow reaction to the small-truck market back then. Now that their popularity has cooled in favor of low-buck versions of full-size trucks and even some Japanese makers have stopped importing them to the U.S., those same critics are strangely silent. |
