| 説明 | 1-12-13 Wyndham Street RacesI served my automotive engineering apprenticeship between 1982-1985 (age 19-22) on General Motors trucks and buses over here in New Zealand. I lost count of the number of Bedford trucks I worked on over those 4 years. One thing I have never forgotten my boss telling me one day was that if a Bedford wasn't leaking any oil, then the chances were there was none left in the sump! Therefore on that rationale I have never seen a Triumph or Norton Motorcycle for that matter not leaking any oil. And this capture proves my boss's theory. It is pretty clean up top, however those head gaskets are definitely leaking a small amount of oil. If this engine was completely void of any oil, then I would have certainly hung around until the owner arrived to warn him his bike was out of oil. In which case he probably would have flattened me as owners of these awesome British built motorcycles are not open to ridiculing of their bikes... :-) |
