| 説明 | A 15 minute exposure of the area around Orion's belt taken from Oyster Bay with my Konica camera and zoom lens piggybacked on my Ultima C8. The lens was set at 100mm and f/4.5. I used Kodak Elite Chrome 200 slide film. I scanned the slide, used Photoshop to adjust the curves. I also created a blurred layer to subtract from the image to even out the vignetting. In the image you can Easily make out the Orion Nebula (M42 and M43). In the middle of the image and a little dimmer are the Flame Nebula (NGC 2024) and the Horsehead Nebula. If you look at the largest version of the image, you may be able to just make out the dark "horsehead" bump in the nebula. Also in the image in the upper left is a portion of Bernard's Loop, although it is rather faint. |
