| 説明 | River Names of Britain group: After a bit of investigation, it turns out this small stream is called Sprodley Brook. It flows down the south side of Parbold Hill - starting on farmland on the 'High Moor' area of the hill, it passes through the wooded 'Fairy Glen' before meeting the River Douglas at the bottom of the valley (flowing under the Leeds & Liverpool Canal to get there). The Douglas is a tributary of the River Ribble, joining it in its final stretch before it reaches the sea |
