| 説明 | One of my personal favourite finds in Greece so far. It's actually the first one I've photographed anywhere. I really like these Renaults, like most French cars from the period. Hard to come across anywhere now sadly- most didn't survive beyond the early 2000s. The body on this one really does look pretty good for a car over 30 years old. The bumper is a bit damaged, but the car is in much better condition than cars 25 years younger in this country. Done really well to survive all those years, and then to stay taxed and licenced after the economic downturn of 2010 onwards! As you've seen in my stream, so many cars have been abandoned around that time...I believe this example is a TL spec, but that's only going by the insurance details or whatever the paper is in the nearside of the windscreen. This was a lower end spec model, and was offered with the 1.4 engine.Similar to its Renault 11 sister, Renault 9s of all phases are unfortunately a harder spot these days. First one I've seen in this country, and I don't expect to see another. Renault 19s are common, but other Renaults, not so. |
