| 説明 | USS FRANK CABLE, Japan (Oct. 18, 2013) -- Hull Maintenance Technician 1st class Steven Adams, left, shows Sailors from the Japanese Maritime Self Defense Force submarine JS Yaeshio (SS 598) around the bridge during a tour of the submarine tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40), Oct. 18. The purpose of the visit was to provide Sailors from both the Japanese and U.S. Navies an opportunity to learn more about each other’s culture and way of life and is part of the U.S. Seventh Fleet’s theater security cooperation plan. Frank Cable, forward deployed to the island of Guam, conducts maintenance and support of submarines and surface vessels deployed in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility and is currently on a scheduled deployment.
