| 説明 | Got these dramatic-looking beans at the Sunday farmer's market at Civic Center. A lot of people gripe that that market is ghetto, and while some vendors have hopelessly wilted stuff on sale, there are plenty of good finds to be had at mind-bogglingly low prices. These looked much like your standard Chinese yard-long beans, but I wasn't quite sure how best to cook them b/c the beans were almost shelling bean size. So I made an attempt at julienning them and sauteed them w/ some shredded chicken, asian basil, mint, chilis, lime and fish sauce. Not half bad. |
