| 説明 | Information from the eBay listing, October, 2013 (bidding starts at $1,500.00):A cool old fiddle made by The Aluminum Musical Instrument Co. in Ann Arbor Michigan...The label states: "Made of Alcoa Aluminum"..."1933"."#410".I have the original tailpiece and 2 bridges (wood!)...I tack-glued the fingerboard back on--it will need to be re-glued by a pro if you want to put this back into service...The nut is missing...The soundpost is still up!Some wear in the finish. No major dents or dings...This finish might be very rare. Most of the aluminum violins I've seen online have been finished in a faux wood grain finish...Cool patina on this golden colored finish.... |
